Pokémon Pokopia and ports of FireRed and LeafGreen have been big hits, as Nintendo shares sales figures for its latest titles.
Over the years, Nintendo has released its fair share of special edition consoles. Naturally, that means some fans have been holding back on buying the new Switch 2 in the hopes of snagging a more colorful design than the standard black.
Nintendo (NTDOY) reported its Fiscal Year 2026 earnings, and in that release the company reported unit sales for its biggest game of the year, Pokémon Pokopia.
Nintendo says it will sell fewer Switch 2 consoles over the next 12 months, following the device's explosive launch last year.
It turns out there's a very healthy appetite for the recent re-releases of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen on Switch, if Nintendo's sales numbers are anything to go by.
