This morning brought heavy wind and almost 10 inches of rain to the Florida Keys! The Turtle Hospital got over 5 inches of rain inside of the hospital, some of the turtle tanks were washed out and undermined from the rushing water and the shade cloth outside of the turtle enclosure ripped to shreds. The incredible team at The Turtle Hospital worked together and kept the turtles and medical equipment safe. Educational programs were cancelled for most of the day until conditions could be made safe
