🌟能用在大多數情況，才叫「規則」 有家長會問： 像 -ild、-old、-ost、-ind、-olt 這些系列的字， 是不是要全部記起來， 然後前面的母音都發長母音？ 其實，我們的教學不會這樣教。 因為這樣的方式， 👉 需要背很多「看起來像規則、但例外也很多」的分類。 而一個規則，如果不能適用在絕大多數情況， 就不算是一個好規則。 在我們這裡，規則只有一句話： 👉 i 或 o 後面接兩個子音時， 前面的母音「長大機率高」， 這才是英文常見的拼字規則。 所以你會看到像這些字： child、cold、most、find、volt 母音都是發長母音。 ​❤️ 那為什麼 print / pond / milk 的母音沒有長大？ 因為這些字多半來自古英文， 又是使用頻率非常高的常用字。 在拼字被統一以前， 發音就已經被大家用習慣了，不容易再改。 15 世紀印刷術出現後，拼字被固定下來， 但有些古老字的發音沒有跟著改， 所以看起來像例外， 其實只是歷史留下來的痕跡。 ❤️那可能會有人問：這些字要怎麼記？ 其實要先說清楚—— 👉 這些都是「常用字」。 孩子在還沒進入正式閱讀、寫作前， 本來就
